Default We are missing a removal skill

Ok here are the removal skills we have in Guild Wars:

Hex removal skills
Condition removal skills
and Enchantment removal skills

We missing some thing?

Yes, we are missing ward removal skills.

This is a simple suggestion,

Just add ward removal skills to every proffession

Ward...removal...skills?

It's not possible to make a stable sentence out of that.

anyway. /notsigned

Hex, Conditions and Enchantments fall across all professions. Wards (and well spells if oyu needed to) only fall across two professions. There are not enough wards and well spells to deem them worthy of having them removed.

You should try asking for anti-shout/preparation/trap/weapon spell first, you'll get the same response

What about traps, or those weapon rituals that RTs use.

Also, why every profession, Warriors and Rangers don't even have a Hex removal or a Condition removal ffs!

Well warriors have (SORTA) a counter to conditions I will Survive, and rangers have antidote signet which works... may not work the way most people want but doesn't stop me from bringing it, i know posion and blind sucks as a ranger,

back on topic, you can't remove a shout, you can't remove a wepon spell, you can't remove a preperation, and you can't remove a ward, nuff said

Wards are fast becoming the last use of ele's and you want that removed as well? I mean, it's not exactly all that hard to interrupt them with the games more than plentiful supply of intterupt skills across most every class.

Elementist have DoT spells and Wards which are intentionally unremovable, they effect a location, and the only thing you need to do to remove it is escape the ward or DoT, or force the enemy out of it, either that or interrupt it's cast, or disable it.

Wards wouldn't be useful if they could be removed, and Elementist needs improvements not reductions.

You can't remove skill effects like Troll Urgent and Critical Eyes either, if they were ment to be removable they would be stances or enchantments. Wards, just like some skill effects, are ment to be unremovable.

Ward removal means the need for: Well removal, Trap removal, Shout removal, Preparation removal, Weapon Spell removal, etc...

Also, how would you target a Ward? You can't do "target closest Ward" because Wards could be at the same spot. You can't manually select a Ward. What do you do?
